I just read this book <em>Get Well Soon</em> and it was about this girl who was depressed and went to some 'loony bin'. She thought she was too fat and when she left the first thing her mother said to her was "Look how skinny you are" or something like that. Now not only TV is telling girls they need to be skinny but so are books. It is really getting on my nerves that you can't look good unless you can see your ribs. Well news flash no one looks like the people on TV and i don't plan to. It just really bugs me that books are now about "fat" girls.
